From the yogic tradition

Vin Yin Yoga

Vin Yin Yoga both energizes and unwinds you, combining active flow with deep, slow stretching. It pairs a dynamic Vinyasa sequence with long-held, passive Yin poses, so you move and then settle. Move within your comfortable range and ease off if anything hurts.

The flowing first half raises energy and warms the body, while the long-held Yin poses release deep connective tissue and shift you toward calm, so you get activation and grounding in one session. You may feel warm and worked during the flow, then a deep, sometimes intense stretch as you hold the Yin poses, easing into release. Both active and Yin styles of yoga have been studied for flexibility, stress reduction, and mood. It's a modern blend of two yoga styles, the dynamic Vinyasa flow and the slow, meditative Yin tradition. You don't need to be flexible or hold the poses perfectly, ease into each one only as far as is comfortable, and your range opens up over time.

Your program picks one to three of these a day, in the minutes you have.
