Rapid Log

Rapid Log helps you clear a cluttered mind, capture everything you're carrying, and see your day at a glance. It's a quick writing exercise where you jot down tasks, events, and notes in short, simple lines.

Getting everything out of your head and onto the page, an effect sometimes called offloading, frees up mental bandwidth and reduces the low-grade stress of trying to hold it all in mind. You may feel lighter and clearer once it's all written down, with less swirling in your head. Externalizing tasks and to-dos has been studied for reducing mental load and the anxiety of unfinished tasks. Rapid logging comes from the Bullet Journal method developed by Ryder Carroll as a fast way to capture and organize. If it feels like there's too much to list or you're not sure what counts, that's normal, just capture whatever's on your mind, in any order, and it gets faster with practice.

Your program picks one to three of these a day, in the minutes you have.
