Pomodoro Start
Pomodoro Start helps you beat procrastination, focus on one task, and actually begin. It's a short writing exercise where you choose a single task and commit to working on it for one focused interval, setting aside everything else.
Shrinking the work down to one task and one short interval lowers the mental barrier to starting, and naming it in writing turns a vague intention into a concrete commitment. You may feel the resistance to starting ease and a sense of clarity about what to do next. The Pomodoro Technique and time-boxing are widely used approaches studied for improving focus and reducing procrastination. The technique was created by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s, named after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer he used. If your mind resists picking just one thing or you feel the pull to multitask, that's completely normal, the practice is simply to choose one and start, and it gets easier each time.
Your program picks one to three of these a day, in the minutes you have.
