Breathwork

From the yogic tradition (pranayama)

Kundalini Breathwork

Kundalini Breathwork energizes you, builds focus and vitality, and shifts you into an alert, awake state. It's an energizing breath from the Kundalini yoga tradition, often a steady, rapid breath sometimes called breath of fire. Ease off if you feel lightheaded, and skip it during pregnancy.

The rapid, rhythmic breathing raises energy and stimulates the activating side of the nervous system, building heat and alertness. You may feel warmth, tingling, and a rising sense of energy as you continue, all normal, and you can pause whenever you like. Rapid yogic breathing has been studied for its effects on alertness and energy. It comes from the Kundalini yoga tradition, where breath is used to awaken and move energy through the body. It's completely normal to find this demanding at first, the capacity for it builds gradually over weeks of practice, so start gentle and let it grow.
