In the app: Heart Coherence Breathwork
Heart Coherence brings emotional steadiness, eases stress, and helps you feel more centered. It's a slow, even breath at about five to six breaths a minute, often with your attention resting on the area around the heart.
Breathing at this slow rhythm brings your heart rate and breath into a smooth, synchronized pattern, often called coherence, which is associated with a balanced, settled nervous system. You may notice your body relax and your thoughts quiet as the rhythm takes over. Research on heart-rate variability has found this kind of rhythmic breathing supports stress resilience and emotional regulation. The approach was developed by modern researchers studying the link between heart rhythm and emotion. If the practice feels a little awkward or hard to coordinate at first, that's completely normal, it becomes more natural the more you do it.
