Gratitude Journal

The Gratitude Journal lifts your mood, deepens appreciation, and leaves you feeling warmer and more connected. It's a writing exercise where you thank three corners of your day: a person, yourself, and one small thing, each with the why.

Naming what you're thankful for, and why, turns attention toward what's already good, which counters the mind's pull toward what's missing and slowly shifts your baseline toward contentment. You may feel warmth, a softening in the chest, and sometimes a little resistance if the day was hard, all normal here. Gratitude practices, especially specific ones with a reason attached, have been studied for improving mood, sleep, and life satisfaction. It draws on gratitude journaling research from positive psychology, where regularly naming a few specific good things proved one of the most reliable mood lifts, and spreading the thanks across a person, yourself, and a small thing keeps the practice fresh. If nothing comes to mind at first, that's normal, small counts, and noticing gets easier with practice.

Your program picks one to three of these a day, in the minutes you have.
