From the Stoics

Stoic Review

The Stoic Review helps you take honest stock of your day, learn from where you fell short, and strengthen how you want to live. It's a reflective writing exercise where you ask what you did well, where you slipped, and what you'll do better.

Reviewing your conduct without harshness turns each day into practice, reinforcing what aligned with your values and gently correcting what didn't, which compounds into real change over time. You may feel a steady sense of self-honesty, mild discomfort at a misstep, and a clearer intention for tomorrow. Regular self-reflection and reviewing your behavior against personal standards align with research on self-regulation and growth. Evening self-review was a daily practice of the Stoics, described by Seneca and Marcus Aurelius as a way to refine character. If it tips into self-criticism or nothing comes to mind, that's normal, the aim is honest, kind review, not judgment, and it gets more natural with practice.

Your program picks one to three of these a day, in the minutes you have.
